The factory seasoning process uses soy-based oil, allowing the polymers to create an initial layer of seasoning, equivalent to 10-15 rounds of normal home seasoning. This makes our cast-iron cookware ready to use straight out of the box.
To maintain the non-stick surface, it's recommended to start with frying bacon, as the fats in the meat help enhance the factory-seasoned layer. Additionally, regularly rubbing the cookware with a thin layer of olive oil, both before and after washing, helps to preserve the seasoning.
